How to Prepare Party Chicken (RECIPE)
- This is for 10 servings
- Preparation time is 20 minutes
- Cooking time is 30 minutes
Ingredients for Party Chicken Recipe
- 10 chicken thighs
- 10 chicken drumsticks
- 2 teaspoon of onion powder/25gm of chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon of thyme/oregano/basil
- 1 teaspoon of curry powder
- 2 cups of vegetable oil
- 25gm of tomato mix
- Add salt to taste
- 1 cup of tomato and pepper puree
- 1 teaspoon of nutmeg/allspice/cinnamon
Instruction on How to Prepare Party Chicken Recipe
- Rinse and put the chicken in a clean medium sized pot
- Add salt, thyme/oregano/basil, curry powder, seasoning and nutmeg/cinnamon/allspice
- Cook without adding water for 3-5 minutes
- Add water and cook for 8-10 minutes
- Heat vegetable oil in a separate pot/pan for about 2 minutes
- Fry the chicken until it starts turning golden brown; then, extract it from vegetable oil and let the oil drain
- Mix the onion powder/chopped onion with tomato mix and fry with same oil for 2 minutes (stir constantly)
- Add the tomato and pepper puree and fry for another 3 minutes (stir consistently) and leave to simmer for about 4-5 minutes
